We are pleased to announce that Eryn Bowles, Lawcadia’s Head of Operations, was awarded Legal Operations Professional of the Year at the 2022 Australian Law Awards.
As legal operations professionals are becoming increasingly integral to the efficiency and success of teams, both in-house and in private practice, the award recognises outstanding performance by a legal operations professional.
Eryn explained what she does as Head of Operations and how her role is integral to the success of the Lawcadia team.
“I am responsible for delivering successful legal operations technology solutions for clients, both in-house legal teams and law firms.
“In my role, I oversee client implementations, customer success and support functions and ensure the on-time delivery of new and/or improved product development solutions in line with the company’s technology roadmap.
“I am passionate about ensuring technology solutions make a difference in how legal teams operate, and I am proud to have demonstrated this with several clients over my time at Lawcadia.
“My focus has been to work collaboratively with legal teams to understand the problems they want to solve and then work with them to design and implement solutions using Lawcadia’s highly configurable platform.
“The resulting solutions integrate their legal function into the organisation’s everyday operation so that it is no longer an afterthought but a key part of the business decision-making process.”
When asked what winning the award means, Eryn said that it endorses the ideology that an operational professional is the best person to help with operations.
“We have the experience, processes, and structure for success,” she said.
