By accessing and/or using this website at Lawcadia.com (the “Website”) and related services, you agree to these Website Terms of Use, which include our Privacy Policy (together, the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Website.
1.2 Lawcadia is a secure, two-sided cloud-based platform that was created to enhance the collaborative nature of the law firm / client relationship. It provides procurement, reporting and management services to companies, and business development and management services to law firms through its web-based platform, Lawcadia.com (the “Platform”).
1.3 These Terms govern the use of the public Website at Lawcadia.com. Use of the Platform and related services are governed by separate contractual terms, as described below.
1.4 Law firms (and any of their partners, employees and contractors) that register to use the Platform are bound by our Terms and Conditions for Law Firms. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Terms and Conditions for Law Firms, the latter will prevail.
1.5 Companies that register to use the Platform are bound by our Terms and Conditions for Companies. The Terms and Conditions for Companies can be accessed during the registration process, or can be requested by emailing us at [email protected]. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Terms and Conditions for Companies, the latter will prevail.
1.6 All users of the Website and Platform are bound by our Privacy Policy.
2. Access and Registration
2.1 You may browse the Website without registering. Access to the Platform and certain services requires completion of a registration process. By registering, you are agreeing to be bound by the applicable terms governing those services.
2.2 We may approve, refuse, suspend or restrict access to the Platform or any services at our discretion.
2.3 The Website and Platform are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied representations or guarantees as to the merchantability and/or fitness for any particular purpose or otherwise with respect to the Website or the Platform.

5.1 You must use the website:

(c) in such a way as not to bring us or any other user of Lawcadia.com into disrepute.

(b) infringe our intellectual property rights, including by using the name Lawcadia or our logos in any business name, email or URL (except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent);
(c) post anything that contains software viruses, worms or any other harmful code;
(d) copy or use the information, content, material or data on Lawcadia.com in connection with a competitive service;
(e) monitor or test Website performance or functionality for any competitive purpose;
(f) access Website except through authorised interfaces; or
(g) override any Website security features.
6. Intellectual property rights
6.1 All intellectual property rights (including all copyright, design rights, patents and innovation patents, trade marks and service marks, database rights, domain names, and any applications for the foregoing, know how, processes and business methods, whether or not registered or capable or registration and whether subsisting in Australia or any other part of the world) in the Website, Platform and all related content belong to Lawcadia or its licensors. All such rights are reserved.
6.2 Lawcadia™ is a trade mark of ours. You may not use the name Lawcadia or represent that you are affiliated with us in any way except as expressly permitted in writing.
6.3 You may not and may not permit any third party to use, copy, modify, publish, extract, display, disclose, license, transfer, reproduce, or create derivative works from any information, content, material or data displayed on our Website without our prior written consent. However, you may print, copy, download or store information, content, material or data displayed on our Website for your own internal business operations only, provided that:
(a) no automated scraping tools are used;
(b) copyright and proprietary notices are retained;
(c) business names, logos, trade marks or service marks are reproduced separately; and
(d) authorship and ownership is properly acknowledged and attributed.

7.1 Use of the Website and the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. We collect, use and disclose personal information in accordance with that policy.
